here he is in the spotlight taking the stage
stepping into the pressure to make no mistakes
sensing their expectations right from the start
he purifies his motivation and speaks from his heart…he says

last night I painted a sunrise with colors warm and deep
unveiled it in the morning to ease you from your sleep
oh, the mountains I have sculpted before you came to be
are the arrows of creation to point you back to me

so you would know that I am God
I have placed with love the stars above and everything below
so you would know

and for your eyes, the painted skies…the colors in a crowd
the drops of rain on window panes, the thunder in the clouds
oh, the taste of dew and honey too…the crystal flakes of snow
the beauty found the world around is yours so you would know

so come to me, receive your life you cracked and drying bones
and rise up with your voices loud…reclaim them from the stones
